It all started back in 1930’s in Chicago Illinois. As a boy, Michael Pontikes went to work in a tavern owned by his father. Michael helped his dad run the family’s businesses during the depression and later after returning from service in the US Navy. After a lifetime in the foodservice industry, Michael and his youngest son Scott opened the first Scotty P’s in Frisco, Texas.
The Pontikes brothers continue to operate Scotty P’s restaurants in multiple locations, including the first unit opened in 1999 that continues to serve 1000’s of customers each week. We are not a franchise organization and we own all of our locations,
